If the AMS manifold could talk, it would be saying "kill me, kill me" over and over again, like the mutant towel from the first Towlie episode of South Park. If it couldn't talk, it'd be typing out "kill me, kill me" over and over again in Morse code, like the battered war vet in Metallica's "One"... except without the honor. The AMS manifolds are pieces of iron shit. No deburring as shown in the main post, unknown metal composition from a Chinese supplier, and worst of all, the point you can't see because you're staring at Vuk's pubes as you gobble his knob, the design is BLATANTLY STOLEN. Mike Smith made the MSP manifold to combat one of the biggest problems with turbo upgrades on the Z32: Exhaust manifold flow. No large company (GReddy, HKS or Stillen for example) stepped up, because they view the Z32 as an essentially dead market. SZ created the Inconel manifold, which flowed great, but had reliability issues, and were very expensive. Mike spent years of his own time developing a cast iron manifold to flow like a tubular, and be as strong as the OEM cast logs. Once it was released, only then would he get back the money he had invested in to the project. Enter the dickwads at AMS. "Wow, that's a great idea"

I guess we'll just make "our own"" I could train a spider monkey to reverse engineer a telephone, so I'm sure the marketing geniuses at AMS could figure out how to make a copy quicker and cheaper. A copy of Mike's hard work, made to piss-poor standards, from who knows what materials in God knows which country. I wouldn't have any beef with them if they sold them for $100 less than the MSP's, labeled them a MSP replica or clone, and gave Mike royalties on the design. But they're too short-sighted and ignorant to realize what they're doing. Too fucking bad too, cause I really love the Z.
